To launch Leeds United’s adidas 24/25 away jersey we developed a visual style that had a nod to the 1970s. The inspiration for the launch was the iconic jerseys of the era and the return of the ‘smiley’ badge. A custom set was fabricated using 1970s era appropriate props ranging from vinyl records to vintage TVs.
Video content used a mixed media approach along with fish eye techniques to align with the circular badge. A contemporary remix of the opening notes from ‘Marching on Together’ gave a nostalgic finish to the video.
