Unmarked was appointed to create a campaign for the launch of Everton’s Castore 24/25 away kit.
Players were spotlit and shot in a blackout studio environment with an oversized, custom-built yellow neon depiction of St. Rupert’s Tower positioned behind the players to create contrast against the darkness. This also aligned with the messaging and the black and yellow and black colour scheme of the jersey.
The campaign messaging incorporates a lyric from “The Spirit of the Blues,” using the line “Everton, we never shone so brightly.” The line “Shine Brightly” was formed and solidified and tied together the whole campaign.
